Bayern Munich fullback Joao Cancelo insists he never heard from Real Madrid last month.
On-loan at Bayern from Manchester City, it's been claimed Real offered a fee rising to 60m for the Portugal international in the winter market.
But Cancelo says: "No, the truth is that there wasn't, but if you say...!
"Having Real Madrid behind you is a pleasure for me because they're one of the best clubs in the world, it means I'm doing things well."
He also said: "I have nothing against Manchester City because I think it gave me the way to get to the level I wanted and where I am today.
"I am very grateful to Pep (Guardiola) and the club, I will never forget Manchester City and then in football you never know, maybe I'll come back at the end of the season."
