PETALING JAYA: A retired contractor in Penang has won RM21.3 million in the Toto 4D Jackpot game after years of betting on the car plate numbers of family members.
The 64-year-old said he had chosen the two four-digit numbers – 5841 and 1562 – for years before they were announced as the Toto 4D’s second and third prize on Dec 8.
Advertisement“I was speechless and overjoyed when I checked my ticket against the results,” he said in a press release by STM Lottery Sdn Bhd.
With his winnings set to guarantee him a comfortable retirement, the Penangite said he would put the money in a fixed deposit to ensure a steady generation of income.
