On December 8, a 64-year-old retiree from Penang hit the Toto 4D Jackpot after betting on his family members’ car plate numbers.
The man, a former renovation contractor, won RM21.3 million in the Toto 4D Jackpot after sticking to the same numbers (5841 & 1562) for years.

“I can now enjoy a comfortable retirement”
The Borneo Post shared that, according to a statement by STM Lottery, the man said he felt relieved when the numbers he’d been betting on finally hit as the winning ones.
The winner added that this win means he can now enjoy a comfortable retirement and plans to put the money in a fixed deposit to ensure a steady income moving forward.
“I spotted the numbers right away when they came out as the 2nd and 3rd prize for Toto 4D. I was completely speechless and over the moon when I checked my ticket against the results,” he said.

The retiree walked away with RM21,314,124 million!
The RM21.5 million Toto 4D Jackpot 1 was split between 2 winners, the retired contractor who walked away with a whopping RM21,314,124 and another winner from Selangor, who bagged RM203,962.75.
Interestingly, a previous Toto 4D Jackpot 1, with a total prize of RM20.1 million, had RM6.15 million split between 4 winners from Sabah, Sarawak, and Penang.
A driver from Penang took home the biggest share of the prize, winning RM4,473,774.75 after betting on his car’s registration numbers.
The 39-year-old revealed that his lucky numbers were 9666 and 1018, inspired by his car.
“My job as a driver has truly paid off. I’m thrilled to use this money to start my own business,” he shared.
