
MANILA, Philippines — “Tawag ng Tanghalan” grand champion Carmelle Collado will represent the Philippines in the inaugural Eurovision Song Contest Asia in Bangkok, Thailand.
She will perform the dance track “Sobra-Sobra,” composed by Nica del Rosario and Mat Olavides, in the upcoming international competition in the Thai capital in November.
Collado won the Philippine Selection Night, organized by broadcaster ABS-CBN, at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City on Sunday. The event was hosted by Vice Ganda, Alexa Ilacad and Darren Espanto.
Saga placed second with the song “Broken Beyond Repair,” composed by Angelo Gonzales and JM dela Cerna. Marielle Montellano, also known as JMielle, placed third with “Mapadama,” composed by Jeremy Glinoga and Jungée Marcelo.
Seven other songs competed in the Philippine Selection Night.
The Eurovision Song Contest Asia will take place on Nov. 14, 2026.
