
Kota Kinabalu: The Tanjung Aru Branch of the Young Malaysians Movement (YMM) and the Sabah Branch of Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (TAR UMT) will jointly host the “Kids First, Futures Next” Family Growth Carnival on Saturday, August 16, from 10am to 6pm at the TAR UMT Kota Kinabalu Campus in Alamesra.
This event focuses on three core themes which is, education, health, and finance. This aiming to provide families with an integrated, one-stop growth solution.
It is the first family carnival here in Kota Kinabalu themed around holistic family empowerment, and is expected to attract over 300 families. The event will offer the community valuable knowledge, professional consultations, and shared learning experiences for both parents and children.

Attendees will have the opportunity to consult directly with licensed advisors, education specialists, and health professionals.
The carnival also features parent-child activities that encourage families to engage together in learning and growth, turning complex topics into accessible experiences.
The Young Malaysians Movement (YMM) is a national NGO dedicated to “Educating Youth, Serving Society.” The Tanjung Aru Branch has been actively involved in community initiatives across Sabah, including sports events, blood donation drives, charity visits, and public awareness programs.
