Carole Middleton borrowed a hat from her daughter, the Princess of Wales, as she attended Ladies' Day at the Cheltenham Festival on Wednesday (11 March).

Kate's mother posed for a picture with Mike and Zara Tindall and TV actor James Nesbitt.

The event also welcomed the Queen, who celebrated outstanding female sporting talent by meeting a group of trailblazing women.

Ms Middleton was wearing a £115 blue fedora by Hicks & Brown.

In 2020, Kate, then the Duchess of Cambridge, wore the piece when she attended a Sunday service at the Church of St Mary Magdalene on the Sandringham estate.
