Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher has questioned why Manchester United attacker Antony is often the brunt of criticism.
The Brazilian did not have his best game against Sevilla on Thursday in the Europa League, with United losing 3-0 on the night and 5-2 on aggregate.
However, Carragher believes that Antony is often more productive and effective as compared to another expensive winger at the club - English star Jadon Sancho.
The Anfield icon wrote on Twitter: "Antony has done more in six months than Sancho has in two years. Yet Antony gets plenty of criticism & Sancho gets very little", along with a shrugging, confused emoji.
Antony has eight goals and two assists this season, which is three more total goal contributions than Sancho has managed.
United take on Brighton in the FA Cup semi final at Wembley on Sunday.
