- Detectives investigating the theft of more than 70,000 pints of Guinness worth £115,000 have released CCTV footage of two men they wish to speak to.
- Around 880 barrels were stolen when two HGV trailers were taken from a depot in Runcorn, Cheshire, on Monday 31 August.
- Footage shows two lorries arriving at the depot and drivers briefly speaking at an entrance building before barriers were lifted.
- Although the two stolen trailers were subsequently found in Skelmersdale, police are still working to recover the missing kegs and locate the offenders.
- Cheshire Police have urged anyone approached by prospective sellers of the stolen beer to report their suspicions immediately.
