MANILA, Philippines — CDV Wealth has reaffirmed its commitment to Filipino seafarers following the cancellation of the Marino World Manning Expo & Conference 2026, where it had planned to introduce its digital financial platform to the Philippine market.
As an event sponsor, CDV Wealth had planned to meet seafarers in person, demonstrate the app, and help visitors open their accounts. The exhibition was intended to mark the start of a wider effort to build relationships with Filipino seafarers, their families, and the organisations that support them.
CDV Wealth is a financial app developed for seafarers by Singapore-based Circle Digital Ventures, founded and led by Meei Wong. It brings together a multi-currency digital wallet, international money transfers, and Visa debit card access to help seafarers manage their money across borders.
The wallet stays with the individual as they move between vessels, contracts, and employers. Users can hold and exchange multiple currencies, send money home, and manage everyday spending through one account.
The company chose the Manning Expo as a platform for its Philippine launch because it offered an opportunity to speak directly with the people the app was built to serve. Alongside demonstrations and registration support, the team wanted to hear how Filipino seafarers manage their earnings, support their families, and handle financial responsibilities during and between contracts.

Despite the cancellation, CDV Wealth’s welcome offer remains available. Seafarers who download the app, register, and complete identity verification can receive US5 in their wallet. Users can also earn an additional US5 for each successful seafarer referral.
CDV Wealth hopes to engage with seafarers, crewing agencies, and maritime organisations across the Philippines as it develops its presence in the market. Feedback from the community will help guide how the company develops and delivers its services, with a focus on the practical needs of seafarers and their families.
