Kota Kinabalu: Malaysia China Chamber of Commerce (MCCC) Sabah Deputy President Datuk Dexter Lau believes the reopening of Sabah and Brunei borders will bring more opportunities to all.
He said both sides could have more opportunities to build closer business relationship.
He said this during a visit to the Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Brunei Darussalam (CCC Brunei), recently.
The visit also included a tour of the office of Kim Teck Cheong in Brunei.
Through meetings in the neighbouring country, Dexter hoped MCCC Sabah would be able to open up more business opportunities for its members.
“I also hope MCCC Sabah and CCC Brunei will strengthen cooperation and share potential business opportunities,” he said.
CCC Brunei President Lim Tiong Han @ Lim Peh Beng said the visit by MCCC Sabah was a good opportunity to forge strategic business partners not only between members of the two chambers but also among young and women entrepreneurs.
CCC Brunei, which celebrated its 75th anniversary recently, has nearly 1,000 members.
The trip to Brunei included MCCC Vice Presidents Terrance Chong and Callee Tan, Secretary Ivan Chai, Treasurer Neilson Chang and Deputy Treasurer Tommy Lo.
