Kota Kinabalu: The State Government’s economic development is on the right track under the leadership of Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Hajiji Haji Noor, said Malaysia-China Chamber of Commerce (MCCC) Sabah President Michael Chin Wee Yee.
“We saw the Chief Minister lead effectively to administer the State. He took over the reins of government at a difficult time amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
“But with his strong team in government, he hit the ground with his development agenda, focussing on increasing the State’s revenue and bringing in investments. No small feat given that he also has to manage the political landscape,” he said.
Hajiji’s leadership was good for the State’s economic development, Chin said, adding “The people wanted progress and development and, most of all, political stability.”
