Champions League accumulator tips: 21/1 acca, betting odds and predictions

Tuesday’s Champions League Predictions

  • BTTS and Real Madrid to win - 7/4 Ladbrokes
  • Villa to win - 6/4 Coral
  • Man City to score over 3.5 goals - 9/4 Sky Bet

The Champions League returns tonight with 18 ties taking place over the next three days.

There are five Premier League sides in action, with Manchester City and Aston Villa kicking off their campaign later on.

Liverpool and Arsenal are in action tomorrow, while Manchester United return to Champions League action after a two-year absence on Thursday, when they face Azerbaijan Premier League champions Sabah at Old Trafford.

After reaching the final last season, Arsenal will be hoping they can go one step further in this campaign and finally win the tournament for the first time, and they are among the favourites at odds of 6/1 on UK betting sites.

They were beaten in the final on penalties back in May by Paris Saint-Germain, who became the first side to win back-to-back titles since Real Madrid won three on the bounce between 2016 and 2018, and they are just 11/2 to make it three wins from three.

We’ve been through the best football betting sites to compile a three-fold acca for tonight consisting of wagers from each of the games with British interest plus Inter’s trip to Madrid, which returns at 21/1 with Sky Bet.

Real Madrid vs Inter prediction

You can never write Real off, and they kick off their campaign tonight when they welcome Inter to the Santiago Bernabeu, looking for a record-extending 16th title, and their first since 2024.

Inter have won the competition three times and have reached the final in two of their last four years.

The new Real boss Jose Mourinho was in charge of Inter the last time they lifted the trophy. He also won the competition with Porto but never with Real Madrid, so could this be his year?

Real and Inter have met 19 times before, and Madrid have won ten – including eight of the nine home fixtures, scoring 28 goals along the way.

They have also won their last seven home games against Inter, keeping four clean sheets, and betting apps are offering 13/5 on Real winning to nil on Tuesday.

The Italian side have scored eight goals in their three games so far, so 7/4 on both teams to score and Real to win is pretty generous.

Club Brugge vs Aston Villa prediction (17:45)

Aston Villa finally got their first point on the board at the weekend when they secured a goalless draw at Hull to end a run of three defeats this season.

As well as the losses to Brighton and Arsenal in the Premier League, they were also beaten by PSG in the Super Cup final, when 17-year-old Brian Madjo scored their only goal of the season so far.

With so many players leaving the club and new faces arriving, no one will be panicking just yet; in fact, the results are very similar to this time last season.

Unai Emery’s side went five league games without a win last season, and they got their first victory in their opening Europa League match at home to Bologna, which kickstarted their season and started a run of five straight wins.

This will be the fourth meeting between the two sides, and the other three all came during the 2024/25 season.

Villa lost the league phase match in Belgium 1-0 but picked up a 6-1 aggregate win in the knockout phase, winning 3-1 away and 3-0 at home to progress to the quarter-final.

Emery’s side will have nothing to fear in the game, but the fact that the win over Villa was the Belgians' only win over English opposition in 19 attempts will weigh heavily on the league champions.

The top accumulator bookies have Villa as the favourites for the win at odds of 6/4, while you can get 11/4 on a draw and considering Brugge have won four of their opening five league games, that’s not a bad shout.

Emery's team have lost only three of their last 21 European group stage/league phase matches, winning 16 and drawing two, so we’re going for a win; after all, strange things happen when the Spaniard takes charge of any team in Europe.

Tuesday accumulator prediction 2: Villa to win - 6/4 Coral

FC Porto v Manchester City prediction

There might be a new man in charge at the Etihad, but so far nothing has changed, with City taking a maximum of nine points from their opening three matches.

They will travel to Porto expecting to continue their unbeaten run against a side that they haven’t lost to in four previous meetings.

Only two of those meetings were in this competition, back during the 2020/21 season, when City came from behind at home to win 3-1 after Luis Diaz had given the Portuguese side the lead.

The return match at the Estadio do Dragao ended goalless, but City returned to the stadium for the final that same season, when they were beaten 1-0 by Chelsea.

They might not have fond memories of the stadium, but it’s hard to see Porto, who have won two of their last 16 matches against Premier League clubs, getting anything from this one.

Bookies are all backing City for the win at 3/4, but the fact they have kept just one clean sheet in their last six matches in all competitions - and that was against Coventry - should give the home side a glimmer of hope and add to that the fact they have a 100 per cent record this season and have conceded just once in five games.

Each of City’s last 19 Champions League matches has produced two or more goals, and you can only get 4/6 on over 2.5 goals.

Tuesday accumulator prediction 3: City to score over 3.5 goals - 9/4 Sky Bet
