Chandigarh’s golfer Adil Bedi made a spectacular comeback at the Asian Development Tour’s Morocco event, successfully making the cut by carding seven consecutive birdies. Playing under pressure in round 2, Bedi executed stunning shots and precise putting, which helped him to successfully secure his spot past the cut. He currently sits at tied 45th.

At one point, Bedi appeared to be on the verge of missing the cut, however, by sinking birdies on seven consecutive holes, he made a significant leap up the leaderboard. In golf, carding seven consecutive birdies is an exceptionally rare feat.

“The first round had not gone well as I shot four bogeys on the front nine and three birdies. However, two subsequent bogeys put me on the back foot, helping to make the cut,” he said.

Bedi, a former Asian Games participant, continues to demonstrate top form and will now aim to secure a spot within the top 10 over the remaining two rounds.
