The fourth edition of the Chandigarh Premier League (CPL) will be held from June 8 to 26 at the Tau Devi Lal Stadium in Panchkula.

This was announced by the UT Cricket Association (UTCA) on Thursday.

The league will feature six franchise-based teams from the region competing in 30 league matches followed by three knockout fixtures — two semifinals and one final.

The matches will be played under lights in accordance with the BCCI guidelines.

The announcement was made by UTCA founder president Sanjay Tandon during the team allocation for the participating franchises.

Speaking on the occasion, Tandon said three franchises were continuing from the previous edition while three new had joined the league this season.

Two matches will be played daily.

The league will feature a dedicated PMO area and that all arrangements and operations will be closely monitored by BCCI officials to ensure the smooth conduct of the tournament.

Manan Vohra will captain HIIMS Hawks while the team will be coached by Ravikant Sharma. Defending champions Chandigarh Kings will once again be led by Shivam Bhambri under the guidance of coach Rajiv Nayyar.

Capital Strikers will be captained by Arjun Azad with Hari Krishan serving as head coach. Tricity Bashers will be led by Devang Kaushik and coached by Dharminder Raj. Rock Garden Warriors will have Dipender Kush as captain with Vineet Jain as coach while Royal Titans will be captained by Mohit Soni under coach Surinder Singh.
