PASIR GUDANG - The charred remains of a yet to be identified person was found inside a burnt car at the Jalan Pekeliling Industrial Park, here this morning.
Pasir Gudang Fire and Rescue Station’s Operations Commander, Assistant Supt Sarhan Akmal Mohamad said the station received an emergency call at 11.13am today.
Following the call, a Fire Rescue Tender (FRT) and Hilux Utility Vehicle with 10 firefighters was deployed to the location.
Upon arrival at the location, firefighters found a Nissan Almera car on fire.
The car was believed to have lost control, hit a tree by the road side, and burst into flames, he said.
"Firefighters managed to douse the fire and found the charred remains of the victim. A Rescue Tool was used to extricate the victim’s charred body," he said in a statement tonight.
Sarhan Akmal said the charred remains of the victim was handed to the police for further action. - BERNAMA
