Diego Moreira is eager to use his time with Chelsea U21 as a senior launching pad.
The summer arrival from Benfica has already struck a positive relationship with U21 coach Mark Robinson.
He told chelseafc.com: "I have big targets and big goals, the coach [Mark Robinson] has given me a lot of advice already and I want to continue building our relationship.
"I want to be the best I can possibly be and I think that is possible under his guidance and beyond.
"I am looking forward to the next game and the impact that I can make on the team."
