Chelsea beat several high profile clubs to the signature of Aston Villa's highly-rated teenager Carney Chukwuemeka.
The youngster is set to sign for the Blues, with the club agreeing to pay Villa a fee that could rise to £20 million.
According to the Daily Mail, the 18-year-old was wanted by the likes of AC Milan, Borussia Dortmund, and Barcelona.
Chukwuemeka refused to sign a new contract at Villa, as he believed that he could already play for a team higher up in the league.
Born in Austria to Nigerian parents, he eventually moved to England and has played for the nation at youth level.
