Strasbourg are in talks with Dynamo Moscow for Arsen Zakharyan.
With Chelsea's umbrella company BlueCo now in control of Strasbourg, talks are underway to sign Zakharyan.
Sky Italia says Strasbourg hope to do business for 15m with Dynamo for the Russia international.
If a deal can be done, a move to Chelsea can still happen for Zakharyan.
The winger was blocked from joining Chelsea last year due to financial sanctions against Russia. But interest from the Blues has remained.
