Chelsea boss Graham Potter says the players rated last summer's preseason under Thomas Tuchel the worst of their careers.
The Blues embarked on a disastrous tour of America last July that saw them lose on penalties to MLS side Charlotte before being thrashed 4-0 by Arsenal.
Former boss Tuchel questioned the players' commitment in a rant after the Gunners loss, and was out of a job months later despite winning the Champions League in 2021.
Potter mentioned the controversial tour as he spoke ahead of Chelsea's clash with Tottenham on Sunday - where he is under increasing pressure to pick up a result following two wins in his last 14 games.
"Speaking to a few of the experienced guys, they said it was the worst pre-season they've had," he said. "Organisationally, the tour didn't work as well as they'd like. I wasn't there so I can't say."
