Chelsea defender Marc Cucurella believes Lionel Messi remains the world's best player.
Cucurella played with the PSG star at Barcelona.
And after Messi led Argentina to this season's World Cup victory, Cucurella told Goal: "Lionel Messi is number 1 in my opinion, he is clearly the best in the world.
"What stands out the most is that he walks quite a lot during the match, but he is always ready.
"He follows everything and always finds the right play. Once he gets the ball, he is always ready to kill the opponent."
