Chelsea defender Thiago Silva is backing Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti for the Brazil job.
Thiago Silva, the Selecao captain, worked with Ancelotti at AC Milan.
He told TJ Sports: "To be honest, I would love if it was him because of our friendship and the understanding we have.
"He was my first coach in Europe and in Milan. What he has done throughout his career shows that he is ready.
"I don't know if I will be part of the Brazilian team, but I would love if he accepted the offer and made the team play the way he wants football to be played."
