Aston Villa fullback Alex Moreno is being linked with a surprise move to Chelsea.
The Spaniard only signed for Villa in January when coach Unai Emery had taken over from Steven Gerrard.
Moreno has three assists in 16 games from left-back since arriving from Real Betis.
According to Foot Mercato, Chelsea and Manchester City are eager to secure Moreno.
He is now 29, which means he is not one for the future, but his versatility of being able to play left-back, left-winger, or right-winger appeals to both clubs.
The Spaniard has been in a great vein of form, managing five goals and four assists in 30 games in La Liga last season.
