Chelsea and Manchester City are tracking Inter Milan defender Alessandro Bastoni.
The Italy international has long been linked with a move to England.
Calciomercato.com says Chelsea and City scouts are watching Bastoni this season, aware Inter will sell for the right offer.
The Nerazzurri will seek to spark an auction at a starting price of 60m.
In July, the 24-year-old put pen to paper on a new five-year deal with the club. It will see his current contract expire in 2028.
However, Inter are preparing to part with Bastoni after identifying Torino's Perr Schurrs as a replacement.
