Chelsea have met with agents for Barcelona midfielder Gavi.
Gavi's future has been thrown into major confusion after his first team registration was scrapped by the LaLiga following Barca's failure to comply to their Financial Fair Play demands.
The midfielder has a deal with Barca to 2026, but he will be a free agent at the end of June if the Blaugrana do not resolve the issue.
AS says Blues director of football Christopher Vivell met with the 18-year-old's representatives with initial talks going well.
However, Gavi has made it clear to Barca that his priority is to stay with the Catalans.
