Chelsea midfielder Mateo Kovacic is a step away from joining Manchester City.
The Croatia international has agreed personal terms with the Champions League finalists.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports a fee will be discussed after Istanbul on Saturday.
Kovacic has a year on his contract and said this week: "I have one more year with Chelsea, this season was very bad.
"Everything is going towards the fact that after five good years I will change, but in football anything can happen."
