The Ecuadorian is a hot target for the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United as well.
Per The Mail, as Chelsea look to sell Kai Havertz to Arsenal, they will use that money to try and land Caicedo.
Another sale that could give Chelsea a boost in funds is Mason Mount to Manchester United.
The Blues do have a hole in their midfield to fill, with both N'Golo Kante and Mateo Kovacic leaving.
The latter is off to Manchester City, while the former has signed for a Saudi Pro League club.
