Manchester United could gazump Chelsea by signing Moises Caicedo this summer.
The Red Devils are in negotiations with the Blues over Mason Mount, who has one year left on his Chelsea contract.
Per The Guardian, United have a maximum fee in mind they will pay for Mount.
If Chelsea do not accept their next offer, the source states that United will move on to Caicedo.
The latter is a Chelsea target, given his impressive 18 months since arriving in the Premier League with Brighton.
Caicedo is also of interest to Arsenal, who are busy fighting Manchester City to sign Declan Rice from West Ham.
Arsenal were thought to be the favoruites for that race, but have been overtaken by City this week.
