Chelsea are set to recall youngster Harvey Vale from his Hull City loan.
The 19-year-old did start Hull's recent 2-0 loss to Fulham in the FA Cup third round.
However, he only managed 137 minutes of action during his entire six month loan spell.
Per the Evening Standard, the club will look to keep him with the Under-21s until the end of the season.
Chelsea will then ponder his short and long-term future in the summer, after he has found his rhythm again.
The Blues are also looking to permanently sell Xavier Simons.
