Chelsea are turning their attention to signing a new central midfielder.

The Blues have been incredibly active in the transfer market since co-owner Todd Boehly took charge in the summer.

Their latest signing is winger Mykhailo Mudryk on an eight and a half year deal from Shakhtar Donetsk.

Per football.london, Chelsea did want to sign Enzo Fernandez from Benfica, but such a move cannot happen this winter.

CBS journalist Ben Jacobs now states that Chelsea are going after Moses Caicedo from Brighton.

An initial bid has already gone in, but is expected to be turned down.

They have already raided Brighton for Marc Cucurella, coach Graham Potter, and Potter's entire backroom staff.
