Chelsea veteran Thiago Silva has heaped praise on Reece James this week.
The Brazilian centre back took the time to highlight the qualities of his club captain.
James had a tough time against Newcastle United last weekend, as Chelsea lost 4-1 in the Premier League, getting a red card.
In an interview with the official Chelsea website, the Brazilian said: "I have a really good relationship with Reece James.
He's a really good captain and he has a big future because he's a really good listener.
"It's my job to be a bit of a sounding board now. It's hard because sometimes the players are very different in age to myself.
What we want to do is speed up the process of understanding and I think the players we have here are generally good at that."
