  • It is the highlight of the four-day Cheltenham Festival, which runs from Tuesday 10 March to Friday 13 March, featuring 28 races in total.
  • The Grade 1 chase offers prize money of £625,000 and covers three miles and two-and-a-half furlongs with 22 fences.
  • Coverage of the Gold Cup will be available on ITV1 and Racing TV, with live streams also offered through their apps and websites, as well as some betting sites.
  • This year’s action is set to be thrilling and, perhaps, a touch more unpredictable than previous years though the prolific Irish trainer Willie Mullins and resident jockey Paul Townend will hope to excel once more.
