THE autopsy procedures for three of the five individuals discovered dead at Taman Cerating Damai yesterday are currently being conducted at Hospital Tengku Ampuan Afzan (HTAA) today

District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Ashari Abu Samah, confirmed that the autopsy on a 32-year-old man, believed to have killed his own family, and his 28-year-old wife was completed yesterday.

“The remaining three bodies – the suspect’s 55-year-old mother and his two daughters, aged three and four – began undergoing autopsy at 8.45 this morning,” he said via text message today.

“All the bodies will be handed over to the family once the autopsies are concluded for further arrangements,” he added.

Reports indicate that the five deceased, who were found in a single-storey terrace house at Taman Cerating Damai around 7 am yesterday, are all expected to be buried at the Cerating cemetery following the Zohor prayers today.

According to authorities, the suspect, who was employed as a security guard, is believed to have killed four members of his family before taking his own life. - February 18, 2026
