- Elijah Bieniemy's court appearances have been delayed after he was ordered to undergo a mental health evaluation.
- While away from the Chiefs' pre-season training camp at Missouri Western State University, Eric Bieniemy stayed in regular contact with head coach Andy Reid and staff to assist with team preparations.
- Eric Bieniemy, who previously helped lead Kansas City to two Super Bowl victories during a prior coaching stint, rejoined the franchise ahead of their opening game against the Denver Broncos on 14 September.
