A woman brought damning allegations against a local influencer, whom she accused of putting her kids’ lives in danger with her reckless lifestyle.
Speaking at a press conference, the influencer’s mother-in-law Wong (transliteration) spilled the shocking details surrounding the near demise of her grandchild due to the influencer’s negligence.

Came across drugs in candy box
As reported by Sin Chew Daily and China Press, Wong said the influencer had hidden crystal meth in a candy box, which was later consumed by her child by accident.
As as result, the child suffered a seizure and began foaming in the mouth, prompting a frenzied rush to the hospital.
While there, Wong alleged the child’s parents refused to tell hospital staff what had transpired, leading to a two-hour delay which nearly took the child’s life.
Thankfully, the child survived after four days of emergency treatment.

Wong’s son and the influencer were later arrested after the hospital reported them to the police. However, they allegedly walked free from detention a few months later.
Not long after, the couple split up, with Wong’s son moving to Penang for work and the influencer leaving the family home. Their three kids are now being cared for by Wong and her eldest daughter.
Wong revealed that the influencer was only 17 when she became pregnant out of wedlock, while her son was 21. They tied the knot in 2020 and have three sons together.

‘Piao piao’ and pornography
Wong also alleged that the influencer dabbled in the promotion and use of the highly-addictive but dangerous e-cigarette drug “Piao Piao” on social media platforms.
As a result, the led to multiple police seizures of the influencer’s drug supplies, which have drained her financially and prompted her to turn to loan sharks to fund her lifestyle.
Unfortunately, this created only more problems for Wong as the loan sharks have since turned their wrath on her.
On top of that, Wong claimed the influencer sold pornographic materials of herself to generate income, with links of the lewd videos shared in the WhatsApp group for parents and teachers at one of her children’s kindergartens.

The links also came with the following description: “A highly attractive influencer filming videos of herself to raise her children.”
Wong expressed deep worry over such disturbing content dealing “a severe blow to her grandson’s young, fragile mind” as several teachers and parents have already watched the videos.
Wong also accused the influencer of being physically abusive towards her children, taking drugs in their presence, and violating a restraining order to see them.

MP calls for urgent action
Kepong MP Lim Lip Eng, who was also present, described the situation as a “serious societal issue”, adding that the case could just be the tip of the iceberg concerning the dark underbelly of Malaysia’s drug underworld.
He urged the police narcotics division to be more proactive in enforcing the law, nabbing the masterminds, and dismantling local drug syndicates, saying that Wong’s situation wasn’t an isolated one.
Lim also slammed the police in their handling of the case, saying that they arrested the influencer multiple times, only to let her go despite numerous police reports lodged by Wong.
