SANDAKAN: Libaran’s Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate Datuk Suhaimi Nasir claimed the trend of Libaran’s Chinese community is towards BN.
He said so far the feedback received was very encouraging and he hoped it would be translated through the vote on Nov 19 for him as the BN Libaran candidate.
“For example in programmes with the Chinese community and in Chinese schools,” he said after the Walkabout programme at Bandar Sibuga Batu 8, on Saturday.
Suhaimi, who is a Nominated Assemblyman said he had channel various school equipment assistance to four Chinese schools in the Libaran parliament.
“Not only schooling aid but also rehabilitation projects, drainage and sewerage maintenance, providing infrastructure facilities have been implemented.
Suhaimi said he never discriminated against race in giving welfare to the people.
“I will continue to try to help the people in terms of welfare, infrastructure and infrastructure for the people in Libaran.
“If given the opportunity as an MP, I will voice the people’s problems in this parliament for the sake of the people’s comfort and equality,” he stressed.
