Kota Kinabalu: The United Sabah Chinese Communities Association of Kota Kinabalu (USCCAKK) will be working closely with City Hall (DBKK) to explore and organise Chinese cultural programmes that will promote urban development.

Sabin, in turn, agreed to attend the event as a special guest.

He hoped USCCAKK will work even harder to bring more exciting cultural events to the people.

The programme includes a children’s colouring contest and a series of exciting activities.
Advertisement (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});The Cultural Village Exhibition will be officiated by Plantation and Commodities Deputy Minister cum Kota Kinabalu Member of Parliament, Datuk Chan Foong Hin, at 9am on the same day.
Susan said the exhibition is a showcase of the customs, culture, heritage and cuisine unique to the 15 clan associations under USCCAKK.
“It is an opportunity for the elderly and young to embrace their own culture and understand the importance of preserving their own heritage,” she said in a statement.
Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor is expected to officiate the opening ceremony of the Chinese New Year Dragons, Unicorns and Lions Dance Festival at 2pm.
Consul General of the People’s Republic of China in Kota Kinabalu, Huang Shifang, has continued to render her support for the event this year and she will be giving away the prizes for the Chinese New Year Children Colouring Competition.
Susan invited DBKK officials to attend the programme and celebrate the festivities with the people.
