Chris Kamara on learning to accept the ‘new me’ after life-changing diagnosis

  • Chris Kamara, the former footballer and television presenter, was diagnosed with speech apraxia in 2022.
  • This rare neurological disorder significantly slows down speech and thought processes, leading him to step back from broadcasting.
  • Appearing on Good Morning Britain, Kamara discussed a new remix of his World Cup single, Sing 4 England.
  • He openly shared that he is “not the same person” he was before the diagnosis.
