- Former England rugby captain Chris Robshaw, 39, is preparing for his debut on Strictly Come Dancing, where he is partnered with professional dancer Nadiya Bychkova.
- Robshaw, who retired from rugby in 2022, said he wants to find new adrenaline and learn a new skill outside his “comfort zone”.
- He admitted to some nerves, but said he thinks they are good: “It focuses the mind, focuses the body.”
- Robshaw also said he was grateful to train with Bychkova, who he described as “a top, world-class professional”.
- The first live show of the new series, featuring 15 celebrity contestants, will screen this Saturday at 6.55pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
