CIMB Bank has announced that the CIMB Clicks App will be discontinued as the bank transitions to its new CIMB OCTO App.
From 12 April 2025, existing users who already have the app installed will no longer be able to use it.. CIMB is encouraging customers to migrate to the CIMB OCTO App to ensure continued access to mobile banking services.
In a similar move, Public Bank announced earlier today that it will discontinue its PB engage MY app by June 2025, urging customers to transition to the MyPB App, which will become its primary mobile banking platform. The shift by both banks reflects a broader trend among financial institutions towards modernising digital banking services, with an emphasis on improved security, functionality, and user experience.
