Kota Kinabalu: A motorcyclist had a close shave after crashing under the wheels of a stationary container lorry near a junction along Jalan Kolombong, here, Wednesday.

The public, including the lorry driver, managed to free the 22-year-old who escaped with severe injuries to his left leg, shoulders, as well as badly bruised knuckles, in the 4.30pm incident.

The crash involved a Perodua Myvi driven by a 35-year-old schoolteacher who was on her way home from work.

She was exiting a shop lot crossing a lane over into the main road headed towards the city area.
