
Kota Kinabalu: A motorcyclist had a close shave after crashing under the wheels of a stationary container lorry near a junction along Jalan Kolombong, here, Wednesday.
The public, including the lorry driver, managed to free the 22-year-old who escaped with severe injuries to his left leg, shoulders, as well as badly bruised knuckles, in the 4.30pm incident.
The crash involved a Perodua Myvi driven by a 35-year-old schoolteacher who was on her way home from work.
She was exiting a shop lot crossing a lane over into the main road headed towards the city area.

The lorry driver said he was from dropping off a container at a warehouse nearby.
A friend of the victim said he (Aiman) was still recovering from shoulder injuries after crashing the same Honda Wave 110 into a pothole along Likas Bay just last month.
Ambulance arrived shortly after the police and brought the victim to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment.
