Club Brugge goalkeeper Simon Mignolet was full of pride after their 0-0 draw at Atletico Madrid.

The result sees Brugge reach the Champions League round of 16.

Former Liverpool keeper Mignolet said: "This is a dream! We fought until the end and we finally did it. In previous years, it just didn't work out for us. We felt this year would be different – and now qualification is ours. But our story doesn't end here: let's see how far we can go!

"I'm glad I was able to play such a big role for my team again. I wasn't really thinking about a clean sheet. It's a nice bonus, of course. For that shot by Morata... I just smashed all my body and was able to stop it with my head.

"The end justifies the means I guess!"
