
Kota Kinabalu: Members of the Rotary Club of Kinabalu Sutera, led by President Chaw Zie Der, visited the Women and Children Hospital in Likas recently to present essential items to expectant mothers and a water dispenser to the nurses.
According to Chaw, community service is one of the Rotary's avenues of service and April is dedicated to maternal and child care as one of Rotary’s areas of focus.
Dr Grace Ng, Matron Nancy Dominic and some of the nurses received the visitors. Nancy expressed her gratitude, on behalf of the expectant mothers and nurses, for the essential items and water dispenser received from the club.
The visit comes under the club's Community Service engagement which is chaired by Datin Yatie Agusyani.
