CMF Malaysia has announced the availability of the new Headphone Pro that packs audio, modularity, and simple aesthetics.
One modular thing that you can find is the swappable ear cushions that come in different colors (sold separately) for additional flair and personality. Meanwhile, tactile controls surround the unit for easy-to-access functions such as a roller for volume, buttons for playback, and a new Energy Slider that fine-tunes bass and treble so you don’t need to open the app to fiddle with EQ profiles.
Aside from the customizable button that can be remapped to Spatial Audio or an AI assistant, what’s underneath is also pretty good – custom 40mm nickel-plated drivers paired with a 16.5mm copper voice coil, a precision bass duct, and a dual-chamber design for clear, textured, and punchy audio.
It also comes with Hi-Res certification, LDAC support up to 990 kbps, and Audiodo-powered Personal Sound profiles to go with the hybrid adaptive ANC system that cuts up to 40dB.
Lastly, battery life is rated at up to 100 hours of playback, or 50 hours with ANC on, with 5 minutes of charging giving 4 hours. CMF also made it so that you can do reverse charging from your phone to quickly save it from dying mid-way.
Price and Availability
The CMF Headphone Pro will be available in Dark Grey, Light Green, and Light Grey, priced at RM429. Swappable ear cushions in Orange and Light Green will also be sold separately for RM89.
