Nothing has announced the CMF’s first over-ear headphones – the CMF Headphone Pro. As with Nothing’s products, there are a lot of physical buttons involved, and a more unusual look than what you get out there. That said, this looks more normal-ish than, say, the Nothing Headphone (1).
CMF Headphone Pro
Let’s start with audio: the CMF Headphone Pro features custom 40mm nickel-plated drivers, with Hi-Res and LDAC support for high-fidelity wireless streaming at up to 990kbps. Internally, the audio waves are pushed through dual-chamber structure for better high/low frequency separation, and there’s a dedicated “Energy Slider” that allows varying levels of bass output.
Besides the Energy Slider, there are several more physical controls onboard: Roller controls volume, ANC and playback controls, and there’s a third button configurable for other controls like Spatial Audio, creating a voice note, or activating ChatGPT (via Nothing smartphones) if that’s your kind of thing. Next to the controls are the round shape ear cushions which can be matched with other colors than what’s provided.
Nothing says the headphones can operate up to 100 hours for playback (50 hours with ANC on) or 50 hours for calls, while a quick 5-minute charge provides up to four hours of listening. Notably, users can use a USB-C cable to charge the cans via a smartphone when needed. As with Nothing and CMF products, more customization can be done through the Nothing X app.

The CMF Headphone Pro will be available in Dark Grey, Light Green, and Light Grey for RM429; those intend to customize the cans with separate ear cushions (available in Orange and Light Green) can purchase them separately at RM89.
Pokdepinion: Very distinct.
