
A tour bus has crashed into a bridge in the Czech Republic and became stuck underneath it.
Four people were treated at the scene for minor injuries, emergency services said on Tuesday in a post on X.
Photographs shared by the police on X showed the vehicle was too tall to pass through the railway underpass. The roof was badly dented and several windows were shattered. , Police said the driver likely ignored warning road signs.
The roughly two dozen passengers continued their journey from Linz in Austria to Český Krumlov in South Bohemia on a replacement bus provided by firefighters.
Operations on the rail line were temporarily brought to a standstill. The road also had to be closed.
The accident occurred in the Dolní Dvořiště district, about 160 kilometres south of Prague, near the Austrian border.
