This Friday, 31 October, Coach will open the doors to The Coach Restaurant Singapore at Jewel Changi Airport — marking a new chapter in the American heritage brand’s transformation from fashion icon to full-fledged lifestyle experience.
The restaurant, a modern steakhouse concept, brings to life Coach’s “Expressive Luxury” vision by fusing New York City’s dynamic character with Singapore’s celebrated culinary spirit. Overlooking Jewel’s dramatic Rain Vortex, the 56-seat dining space includes an open woodfire kitchen, a 10-seat bar and a chef’s counter offering intimate views of the culinary theatre.
Coach Cuisine
Every detail within the restaurant reflects Coach’s signature craftsmanship. Guests will find glove tanned leather in unexpected places — from aprons and napkin cuffs to menu covers and placemats — while bespoke plateware takes inspiration from the brand’s fashion collections.
Paying tribute to its Manhattan roots, The Coach Restaurant Singapore is imbued with quintessential New York flair: think warm leather booths and a full-sized yellow taxi cab suspended above the dining room, evoking the bustling energy of the Big Apple in the heart of Changi.
Culinary Maestro
The kitchen is helmed by Head Chef Kurt Sombero, formerly of Burnt Ends and Meatsmith Little India. The menu celebrates steakhouse classics with imaginative twists, including caviar-topped Black and White Bagel — a playful nod to New York’s famed cookie — and spiced Crab Cakes seasoned with Old Bay.
Highlights extend to USDA Prime steaks and Japanese Satsuma Wagyu A5, served with roasted garlic and butter moulded into Coach’s Signature ‘C’. Seafood lovers can savour Lemon Thyme Roasted Chicken, Dover Sole with citrus caper brown butter, and Maine Lobster with black pepper hollandaise.
