SOOK: The Cocoa Plantation Restoration Programme will increase the production of the country’s cocoa beans, said Malaysian Cocoa Board Director General Datuk Dr Ramle Hj. Kasin.

The two-day technology transfer programme was found to be beneficial for the economic improvement of the community here.

The Gerak Gempur Perdana Programme is aimed at delivering the latest information related to cocoa cultivation technology and quality care of cocoa beans as well as strengthen the relationship between MFIs and industry players.

The Mini Cocoa Processing Subdistrict of Lanas, Sook was inaugurated under the Cocoa Product Improvement Incentive (RPHK) project in 2023.
