LAHAD DATU - A commotion broke out at Dewan Sri Perdana during Umno representative meeting here today.
According to a source, the uproar began as a result of provocation by supporters of election candidates.
In the viral video, a disgruntled supporter came on stage when Lahad Datu Umno chief Major (B) Khalid Harun was speaking.
This caused other supporters to barge onto the stage before fights broke out.
Lahad Datu Assistant Commissioner Rohan Shah confirmed the incident when contacted and said they will issue a media statement as soon as possible. - Awani
