LAHAD DATU: The Lahad Datu District Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) reminded the public to always comply with the specifications that have been set when carrying out house renovation works.
Its Chief Sumsoa Rashid said those who connect houses at the back or front, especially terraced houses, should raise the party wall on both sides.
He said, the wall on both sides serves to block the spread of fire from one unit of the house to the adjacent house for two hours.
