Malaysia's contingent has exceeded their gold medal target at the tournament with a strong performance in weightlifting and athletics. This success proves the potential of our local coaching for the international tournaments. The big picture requires the telescope: setting the mission and developing a winning philosophy and style. They can push for an inspiring destination to build capabilities. A good coach will make it absolutely clear what the team is trying to achieve in short, medium & long term. I believe coaches are enablers & athletics are executors for the contingent big success.
